For installation of updates, please follow the instructions below:

1. Download the appropriate patch file. Please check to make sure that downloaded file is for the NAS product that you've purchased from NetEngine or its partners/resellers.
2. Before making any updates on the NAS OS, it is advised to practice back up procedure that is appropriate for your organization.*
3. Copy the patch file to the logical volume share of the NAS that you wish to update.
4. Go to the web administration of NAS, select Update section for NAS.
5. Browse the logical volume, click on the file to select it.
6. From the Update page, click on the Update button.
7. Reboot NAS upon display of message Update successful, reboot NAS.

   Note: You may choose to reboot the NAS server at anytime but updates will NOT take place until reboot has been executed.
